Impact of High-standard Farmland Construction Participation on Farmer's Grain Income:Based on the Intermediary Role of Agricultural New Quality Productive Forces
The problem of increasing farmers'income is the core issue of"agriculture, countryside and farmers"work, and high-standard farmland is the important material basis of agricultural production. It is of practical significance to explore the relationship between the high-standard farmland construction and farmers'income.Based on the microscopic survey data of 1032 farmers in 10 provinces in China, this paper empirically analyzes the impact of high-standard farmland construction participation on farmers'grain income by using endogenous transformation regression model. The results show that:(1)Participation in high-standard farmland construction significantly improves farmers'grain income, and the average treatment effect shows that participating in high-standard farmland construction can increase farmers'grain income by 2.77%.(2)Heterogeneity analysis shows that, compared with small farmers, the participation of large-scale households in high-standard farmland construction can improve the grain income;Participation in high-standard farmland construction can not only promote part-time farmers to increase grain income, but also promote pure farmers to increase grain income;Compared with non-major grain producing areas, farmers in major grain producing areas participate in high-standard farmland construction, and the effect of increasing grain income is more obvious.(3)The mechanism analysis shows that the high-standard farmland construction participation can improve farmers'grain income by improving the level of agricultural new quality productivive forces.Accordingly,we should encourage farmers to actively participate in high-standard farmland construction, formulate differentiated policies for farmers to participate in high-standard farmland construction. At the same time,we should accelerate the cultivation and development of agricultural new quality productivive forces in order to improve farmers'grain income.
