Lies play an essential role in the occurrence of frauds.Studying the spread of fraudulent lies from a semiotic perspective has strong practical significance.From the view of the information source,perpetrators of fraudulent lies have the intention of insincere communication and provide false information to satisfy their own interests.From the view of the lie's text,fraudsters attempt to create a simulated fictional world.From the view of the audience,the receivers of the lies belong to interpretive communities and have strong subjectivity.As long as the text which is believable and the expression which is true are both accepted by the audience,the audience's expectations is met.Consequently,the spread of lies can tend to generate the expected interpretive meanings for the perpetrators of lies.
