锥形光纤续接器在振动环境下的应用及其耦合性能

摘要
在一些特殊场合中,比如在振动环境下,光纤续接耦合效率会受到很大影响,给正常通信带来挑战.为了提高耦合效率,提出了采用锥形光纤实现续接的方法.为了验证其性能,试制了锥形光纤样品,并开展了微振动环境中光功率耦合实验和误码率实验,两个实验结果均表明,新的连接器性能更好.
Abstract
In some special situations,such as in vibration situations,the lateral displacement has a great influence on the coupling efficiency of the fiber connector,wchich could pose challenges to normal communication.In order to solve this prob-lem,the use of a directional conical fiber connector is proposed to improve the efficiency.In order to verify its the perform-ance,a sample was made and an optical power coupling experiment and an error rate experiment in the vibration environment were conducted.Both experimental results confirm that the new connector gives a better performance.
