Design of manhole cover monitoring system based on WiFi+Lora
A low-cost wellbore monitoring system based on Lora+WiFi networking is proposed to address the small-scale but flexible demand of manhole covers managed by property right units such as enterprises and communities.With the STM32 microcontroller as the main controller,this system adopts Lora networking technology to achieve wireless data trans-mission between manhole covers,and WiFi modules for remote data transmission and data uploading to the cloud.By hardware design and software programming,the monitoring of the information about the multi-point manhole cover angle changes,pow-er supply status,gas concentration in the wellbore,liquid level depth,and so on can be achieved.The mobile apps is used to monitor and control the system,and the data upload and command issuance between the manhole cover terminal and the cloud are realized in a round-robin manner.The results of testing the physical system show that it can effectively monitor the envi-ronmental parameters of multiple manhole cover points.
