The improvement of new urbanization can help build a new development pattern,promote economic transfor-mation and upgrading,promote coordinated regional development,and promote the comprehensive construction of socialist modernization.Based on the development perspective of new urbanization,this paper estimated the comprehensive development level and the development level of each index of new urbanization in each city of Henan Province from 2011 to 2021,and empir-ically analyzed the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics and spatial correlation morphological characteristics by using CRITIC-TOPSIS and social network analysis methods,respectively.The results show that the development of the new urbani-zation level in Henan Province is relatively stable,the new urbanization network structure is obvious,the influence relationship between each unit is not limited to the spillover effect generated by its neighboring units,and there is a lack of cities that play an intermediary role in the spatial correlation network of new urbanization.Focusing on the transformation of development mode,improving the efficiency of regional development,and optimizing the allocation of factors,this paper puts forward devel-opment countermeasures and suggestions,in order to realize the sustainable development of new urbanization in cities in Henan Province.
