Against the backdrop of national scientific and technological development demands for journals and the intrin-sic needs for journal self-development,this study explores the pathways to enhance the quality of journals from local under-graduate higher learning institutions.The paper proposes six pathways to improve the quality of these journals:optimizing the layout of columns,building a high-level editorial team and a team of peer reviewers,publishing high-quality and hot-topic arti-cles,and publishing articles that reflect the latest development levels and trends.These pathways aim to provide a reference for enhancing the quality of journals from local undergraduate institutions.
