Expression and clinical significance of LncRNA CRNDE in non-small cell lung cancer
Objective:To analyze the expression and clinical pathological significance of long non-coding RNA colorectal neoplasia differentially expressed(LncRNA CRNDE)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)tissues. Methods:From February 2020 to May 2023,63 NSCLC patients from our hospital were included in the study.Re-al time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)was used to detect the expression of LncRNA CRNDE in tumor tissues and adjacent normal tissues. Then, the clinical pathological significance and prognostic value of Ln-cRNA CRNDE were analyzed using this study cohort and TCGA cohort. Results:Through RT-qPCR analysis, the expression of LncRNA CRNDE in tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues[3.04(0.56,13.04)vs.0.24(0.05,1.99),P<0.001].In the receiver operating characteristic curve of the sub-jects,LncRNA CRNDE had the ability to distinguish between NSCLC tumor tissue and adjacent normal tissue, with an area under the curve of 0.713(P<0.001)and a high specificity of 81.0%.The expression level of LncRNA and CRNDE in tumor tissue was higher in TNM stage Ⅲ than that in patients with stageⅠ-Ⅱ(P =0.001).Simi-larly,by analyzing TCGA data,LncRNA CRNDE was highly expressed in NSCLC tumor tissue(n =1 014)com-pared to adjacent normal tissues(n =106)[41.00(24.00,72.00)vs.22.60(10.60,47.70),P<0.001].The high expression of LncRNA CRNDE was associated with a shorter overall survival(OS)time for all patients,as well as a shorter OS time and first progression time for lung squamous cell carcinoma patients(P<0.05).The results of multivariate survival analysis also showed that N2/3 staging(P =0.004)and high expression of LncRNA CRNDE(P =0.010)were significantly correlated with shorter OS time in NSCLC patients. Conclusion:LncRNA CRNDE has potential as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for NSCLC.
