Jiayuguan is located in the central area of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province,which is the pass through of the famous an-cient road"Silk Road".For social stability,the government of Hanwei carried out the policy of Army Farming and reward of Station-ing Migration to Open up Wasteland.Relying on abundant animal resources,the agricultural production technology developed rapid-ly in Hexi Corridor.Jiayuguan tombs brick paintings of Wei and Jin dynasties recorded agricultural production technology in Hexi Corridor 1 700 years ago,which had important historical value and cultural value in the history of agricultural development in China.
