Effects of Mulching Methods on Yield and Soil Condition of Actinidia chinensis
In modern agriculture,mulch is commonly used to regulate soil temperature and humidity and soil microorganisms to im-prove crop yield.The effects of covering different kinds of materials on yield and soil condition of Actinidia chinensis were studied.The results showed as follows:Compared with blank control(CK treatment),the average fruit weight per tree and yield per tree of Actinidia chinensis tree in mulching treatment were significantly increased(P＜0.05),but the average fruit number per tree was not significantly different.Soil moisture content increased significantly at different depths.The average fruit weight,yield per plant,total sugar content and Vitamin C content of Actinidia chinensis trees under the combined mulching treatment were significantly higher than those under other treatments(P＜0.05),and the soil water content at different depths was also significantly higher than that under other treatments(P＜0.05).
