Exploring the Path of Promoting Rural Toilet Renovation in Bijie Experimental Zone
Rural toilet renovation is to transform the non-sanitary toilets of the villagers'groups or permanent farmers in natural vil-lages planned to be retained within the jurisdiction,and is a livelihood project to promote the construction of livable and viable indus-tries and beautiful villages.In accordance with the basic idea of"all-round coverage and thorough revolution",the Bijie Pilot Zone ensures the implementation of the construction and renovation of rural sanitary toilets throughout the country through policy guid-ance,departmental linkage,standards and norms,classified guidance,scheduling and assessment.This paper introduced the mea-sures taken and the results achieved in the process of promoting rural toilet renovation in Bijie Pilot Zone,analyzed the problems ex-isting in the toilet renovation,and put forward suggestions such as strengthening organizational leadership,focusing on the rectifica-tion of problem toilets,expanding financing channels,and strengthening publicity and guidance according to the actual situation,in order to provide reference for the local government to further grasp the rural toilet renovation work.
