Experimental Study on Grafting of Acer truncatum in Chifeng Area
With 9 excellent individual plants in Chifeng area as experimental materials, different research conditions were set from three aspects of rootstock age, grafting method and grafting time to analyze the influence of grafting survival rate of Acer truncatum. The results showed that the survival rate was higher in late April, the average survival rate was up to 53.33%,compared with other times, the difference was very significant.Grafting employing bagged miter cutting technique on 2-year seedlings provides the high-est survival rate,up to 72%.Therefore,the survival rate of grafting was significantly improved by bagging miter cutting technique in late April with 2-year old seedlings as anvil in Chifeng area.
