Effects of Straw Returning on Rice Pests and Diseases and Yield
In order to explore the effects of straw returning technology on the occurrence and yield of rice diseases and pests, the ap-plication effect of straw returning in agricultural production was evaluated through field investigation and data analysis. It was found that straw returning to field could significantly increase soil organic matter content, improve soil structure, and provide better condi-tions for rice growth, thus contributing to increasing yield. However,if the straw is not properly returned to the field,it may become a potential breeding ground of diseases and pests, and then increase the risk of rice diseases and pests. Therefore, the key to improve the effect of straw returning to the field is to strengthen policy guidance and financial incentives, encourage technology research and development and popularization and application, strengthen farmer education and training, and establish a long-term mechanism and feedback system. The research conclusion is of great significance for guiding the practical agricultural production practice and pro-moting the utilization of straw resources.
