Tea Plant Disease-causing Bacteria Study on the Biological Characteristics of Botryosphaeria dothidea
The biological characteristics of Botryosphaeria dothidea,a pathogen of tea leaf disease in Xinyang city of Henan prov-ince,were studied by means of in-dish assay.The experimental results showed that Botryosphaeria dothidea could grow normally on PDA,OA and MEA medium,the growth rate of MEA medium was slightly slower than the first two,and the sporulation of OA medi-um was relatively better.Under the influence of different nutrient factors,the growth rate of pathogenic bacteria was different.The growth rate was the fastest in the medium with glucose as carbon,and the fastest in the medium with methionine as nitrogen.The op-timum temperature for the growth of the strain was 25℃.The strains grew normally in liquid medium,and the colonies were spheri-cal,with the formation of new colonies.The optimal pH value is 6,which is suitable for slightly acidic environment,and the strain al-most stops growing when the pH value is 8.
