Camellia oleifera is one of the most important cash crops in Guangxi,and its yield and quality are mainly affected by the cultivation techniques of foresters and the level of pest control.In order to further improve the yield and quality of Camellia oleifera and promote the sustainable development of Camellia oleifera industry,taking Baise City as an example,the cultivation techniques of Camellia oleifera for improving quality and efficiency were introduced in detail from the aspects of plot selection,fine land prepa-ration,base fertilizer,selecting seedlings,rational planting,ploughing and weeding,topdressing and replenishing,and shaping and pruning.The appropriate control measures were put forward for the common diseases and pests of oil tea such as anthracnose,soft rot,cockchafer and Biston marginata.
