Tetanus disease is a toxic infectious disease caused by clostridium tetani.Although the overall incidence of sheep is not high,it also occurs from time to time,mainly caused by bacteria invading the body through the wound.The main symptoms are lacta-tion difficulties,stiff limbs,masseter muscle rigidity,muscle spasm,oral extension,if not timely diagnosis and treatment,easy to oc-cur death.Based on the work practice,the epidemiology and clinical symptoms of sheep tetanus were analyzed,the diagnostic meth-ods of sheep tetanus were discussed,and the prevention and control measures were put forward in order to provide reference for the majority of sheep farmers.
