The decolorization rate and inulin loss rate of dry powder extract of Helianthus tuberosus were determined by visible spec-trophotometry using 8 different decolorizers.The results showed that the decolorization effects of S-8 macroporous resin and activat-ed carbon were 90.57%and 90.55%respectively under neutral conditions.This conclusion can provide technical support for optimiz-ing the decolorization processing technology of Helianthus tuberosus.
