Field grass damage is one of the main factors leading to the decline of maize yield and quality.In order to determine the influence of different herbicides on the control effect of weeds in maize seedling stage and the production safety of maize,Zhengda 719,the main maize variety grown in Chongzuo was used as experimental material to study the control effect and safety of different herbicides in the field.The results showed that different herbicides had better control effect on weeds in maize field,and the best con-trol effect was applied on pyrimidine and atrazine,and the weed control effect reached more than 90%.There was no harm to maize after spraying with other types of herbicides except for the slight harm to the maize after spraying.Herbicide spraying was helpful to increase maize yield and its component factors.
