In order to improve the teaching quality of general plant pathology,implement the concept of cultivating people by virtue,combine with the requirements of the new talents training program of plant protection major of Shanxi Agricultural University,aim-ing at the problems existing in the teaching of General Plant Pathology Experiment Course,a series of reform plans were put for-ward,including but not limited to optimizing the teaching content,improving the teaching method and perfecting the assessment and evaluation system.Years of teaching practice have proved that this teaching exploration and practice not only improve the learning in-terest and arouse the enthusiasm of plant protection students,but also cultivate the students'scientific research and innovation ability and enthusiasm for"Agriculture,Rural areas and Farmers",and also provide certain reference for the teaching and research of other relevant agricultural experiment courses.
