With the intensification of climate change,cold damage has become one of the main meteorological disasters affecting the production of overwintering Solanum lycopersicum in Fuzhou area.Taking facility Solanum lycopersicum as an example,an insur-ance product based on weather index was designed to transfer the risk of freezing damage in agricultural production and reduce the economic loss of farmers.
