Based on field survey data from 342 quadrat in 121 plots,the plant species diversity of grassland communities in Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture was analyzed.The survey results revealed significant differences in species composition among grassland types,with alpine meadow having the highest species diversity index(H=3.1)and the richest species diversity,while tem-perate desert having the lowest species diversity index(H=2.3).The findings of this study provide scientific basis for future grassland management and conservation work.
