Based on the introduction of the research status of sprinkler irrigation,drip irrigation,seepage irrigation and micro-sprin-kler irrigation,and the analysis of irrigation technology related patents in China from 2014 to 2023,it is concluded that sprinkler irri-gation technology and drip irrigation technology are in the rapid development stage,while seepage irrigation technology and micro-sprinkler irrigation technology are in the slow exploration stage.The future development trend of irrigation technology in orchards was discussed.
