Effects of Different Temperatures on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Pinus armandii
To explore the effect of temperature change on seed germination and seedling growth of Pinus armandii. The seeds were treated at(15±2)℃,(20±2)℃,(25±2)℃and(30±2)℃to study the germination rate, soluble sugar, soluble protein and seedling growth. The results showed that different temperatures had significant effects on seed germination and seedling growth. With the in-crease of treatment temperature, seed germination rate, germination potential, germination index, root length, stem length and dry matter of seedlings increased first and then decreased, and SOD,POD and CAT activities decreased first and then increased.There-fore,the seed germination rate of Pinus armandii cultured at(25±2)℃is the best, and the growth of seedlings is the best, which is a more suitable germination temperature.
