Selection of Transplanting Time and Planting Density of Forsythia suspensa in Longxi County
By comparing the survival rate of Forsythia suspensa seedlings at different transplanting times and the yield of Forsythia suspensa green fruits at different planting densities,it was concluded that the best transplanting time for Forsythia suspensa in Longxi County is mid-March to mid-April in spring,and the average survival rate of transplanting could reach more than 95%.Dur-ing the seedling planting period(3～6 years),the plant spacing should be 1.5 m and the row spacing should be 2.0 m.The density was 222 plants/667 m2,after entering the full fruit period(7～8 years),it is necessary to reduce the planting density,and Forsythia suspen-sa plant spacing becomes 2.0 m,the row spacing becomes 3.0 m,and the density becomes 111 plants/667 m2,which can ensure the high and stable yield of Forsythia suspensa.
