The Effect of Different Light Intensities on the Growth of Quercus variabilis
In order to investigate the effects of light intensity on the growth of Quercus variabilis, different shading treatments were set in the Maiji area. The results showed that the growth of plant height and leaf area under T2 condition remained at a high level, and the growth of full light condition decreased compared with that under the lowest osmotic regulation. When the shading rate was ad-justed to T4 condition, the osmoregulatory substances would gradually increase to the full light level, and too low light would pro-duce osmotic stress in Quercus variabilis seedlings, and stimulate the plant to accumulate more osmoregulatory substances for resis-tance.This study provided important theoretical basis for the cultivation of Quercus variabilis.
