Effects of Ammonia Nitrogen Stress on the Growth Performance and Immunity of Eriocheir sinensis
A 10 days experiment was conducted to research the effects of different aquaculture water ammonia nitrogen level on Erio-cheir sinensis growth performance and immunity.Eriocheir sinensis was the study object, and ammonium chloride was the source of the water ammonia nitrogen in this experiment. The aquaculture water ammonia nitrogen level were 0.00 mg/L,10.00 mg/L,20.00 mg/L,30.00 mg/L,40.00 mg/L,50.00 mg/L,respectly.Each handle has 3 parallels, and each parallel has 3 repeats, and there were 30 Eriocheir sinensis in each repeat.Weight gain rate and specific growth rate were computed after the stress experiment, and the surviv-al rate, molting rate, serum SOD,CAT,LZM activity and MDA content were determined in the 0 d、2 d、4 d、6 d、8 d、10 d of the stress experiment. The results showed that Eriocheir sinensis weight gain rate, specific growth rate, survival rate, serum SOD,CAT activity had no significantly difference, when the water ammonia nitrogen level below 10 mg/L,but the molting rate, serum LZM activity re-duced significantly and the MDA content increased when the Eriocheir sinensis living for a long time in water which ammonia nitro-gen level was greater than or equal to 10 mg/L.Based on comprehensive growth and immune indicators,Eriocheir sinensis can growth normally when the water ammonia nitrogen below 10 mg/L,but the molting rate and immunity will be inhibited, when the Eriocheir sinensisliving for a long time in water which ammonia nitrogen level was greater than or equal to 10 mg/L.
