As far as Datong City is concerned,grass-roots breeding is mainly based on sheep,and the breeding scale is large,and now further improving the fertility of sheep is also the key to ensuring its breeding efficiency.However,there are many influencing factors during the growth of sheep,including variety,age,etc.Therefore,it is also necessary for farmers to strengthen seed selection based on the local breeding practice,and further improve the fertility of sheep through various technical measures such as nutritional management of sheep and disease prevention and control,which also plays an important role in promoting the large-scale develop-ment of grassroots sheep breeding industry.Based on this,the technical measures to improve sheep fertility were analyzed in order to provide scientific reference for the sustainable development of local sheep industry.
