Since the founding of New China,the development of school physical education has been changing rapidly and in full swing.It is very important to sort out the development of school physical education in New China and summarize its historical ex-perience for the development of school physical education in the new era.Using oral history as a research method,this study re-cords Qu Zonghu's sports career,depicts his career development trajectory,and explores the development characteristics of Qu Zonghu's connection with sports,introduction and development,rather than abuse,Yangzhou Conference,peach and plum cul-ture,and institutional guarantee in six periods.This provides reference for the cultivation of sports teachers in the new era,en-hances students'physical health,and provides experience and inspiration for the development of school sports.
