Chinese Wushu research findings published in CSSCI journals since 1999 were described and evaluated.The study used content analysis and statistical methods to screen the literature,retrieved 1039 citations,and finally included 220 documents in the study.Accord-ing to the results of the qualitative research,Chinese Wushu research is currently in a period of transition,and the relevant research shows an obvious turning trend.The existing research results on Chinese Wushu mainly focus on three major themes:Wushu development,Wushu dissemination,and Wushu connotation.In the past 20 years,the research paradigm based on the macro level has been unable to meet the current trend of academic research,while the research on the meso and micro levels is on the rise.In the future,the research will still focus on the above three themes,but the research paradigm will change significantly compared to the previous one.The study aims to provide a way of thinking for the transformation and development of the research paradigm of Chinese Wushu humanities and social sciences in the new era,and is based on serving the construction of a philosophical and social science system with Chinese characteristics.
