Study on the Realistic Dilemma and the Possible Countermeasures of Ideological and Political Education in Public Physical Education Courses in Universities
Using the method of literature review,this study analyzes the actual dilemmas in the construction of ideological and political edu-cation in public sports courses in higher education institutions in the new era,and proposes strategies for optimizing the ideological and po-litical education in public sports courses.The study finds that the actual dilemmas faced by the ideological and political education in public sports courses in higher education institutions at present are as follows:the degree of understanding of the connotation of ideological and po-litical education in public sports courses is still insufficient at the theoretical level;the efforts and scope of integrating and expanding ideo-logical and political education resources in sports courses are not enough at the course resource level;the sports education field has not yet established a sports course ideological and political education curriculum system at the discipline level;and the understanding and opera-tional ability of sports teachers in sports courses on ideological and political education are insufficient at the practical level.In response,the study proposes that higher education institutions should implement the following desirable countermeasures to promote ideological and politi-cal education in sports courses:the academic community should further explore the connotation of ideological and political education in cour-ses;strengthen efforts and expand the scope of integrating and expanding ideological and political education resources in sports courses;es-tablish a sports course ideological and political education curriculum system;and continuously enhance the understanding and operational a-bility of sports teachers in sports courses on ideological and political education.
