Returning Youth Participate in Folk Sports Enabling Rural Revitalization:Linkage Mechanism,Practical Obstacles and Optimization Path
Since the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the large number of"returnees"among the youth group has made"re-turned youth"group that has attracted much attention from the academic community.Using methods such as literature review and logical a-nalysis,this study explores the linkage mechanism,practical obstacles,and optimization paths of returned youth participating in folkloric sports to empower rural revitalization based on the current status of folkloric sports'adaptation in terms of policy support and cultural ecolo-gy against the backdrop of the rural revitalization strategy in the new era,combined with field research in western Hunan.The study finds that returned youth's participation in folkloric sports to empower rural revitalization mainly involves a triple linkage relationship in terms of econ-omy,culture,and governance,but it is hindered by factors such as choice,identification,action,and intergenerational issues in reality.Based on this,the optimization paths proposed are:strengthening grassroots party building to shape the value orientation of"meaning"for returned youth;constructing a"nostalgia"field to enrich returned youth's cultural memory and local sentiment;promoting rural"good governance"to ensure that returned youth have rules to follow in their deliberations;and building a civilized rural atmosphere to harmonize the intergenera-tional relationship of returned youth.
