Through literature review and logical analysis,this paper studies the culture construction of sports projects in colleges and univer-sities.The significance of promoting sports culture construction in colleges and universities include:it is a vigorous accelerant to promote the construction of a sporting country,a crucial carrier to comprehensively improve the construction of campus sports culture,and an effective form to strengthen moral education and cultivate people.But the lack of cultural integrity of sports items in sports textbooks,the fragmentation and simplification of sports items in college sports teaching,and the need to strengthen the cultural spirit inheritance of sports items in col-lege sports events are the obstacles to developing the culture of sports items in colleges and universities.Here are the suggested promotion paths:to completely present sports materials and sports culture;to overcome fragmented knowledge and single skill tendency;to deepen the cooperation and integration of extra-curricular sports activities with specialized sports associations;to reasonably match Olympic sports and newly-emerging sports.
