In the late Ming Dynasty,the Huizhou merchant Wu Ting was rich in the collection of famous calligraphies and paintings,and had exchanges with Dong Qichang from Songjiang and Liu Chengxi from Macheng.The three of them formed a cross regional"triangle interaction"pattern,reflecting the strong regional circulation of calligraphy and painting collection activities in the late Ming Dynasty.The Huizhou merchant Wu Ting,civil official Dong Qichang,and military general Liu Chengxi also constructed impressive human relationships through the medium of calligraphy and painting,highlighting a regional connection and identity interaction in the context of regional competition in the late Ming Dynasty.
