Resisting Technological Discipline by Local Culture:A Study of Spontaneous Design in Informal Settlements
While technological systems drive the reconstruction of urban space,they also give rise to social problems and conflicts in informal settlements.Using the method of design anthropology to observe the interaction between residents and space,and the reflexive analysis logic of"invasion-resistance-discursive",we study the spatial representation of technological discipline in informal settlements in Tianjin Old City Hall,explore the method and mechanism of residents'spontaneous design,and reflect on the underlying socio-cultural significance to analyze the value and inspiration of low-tech qualities in spatial practice.
