The Relationship between Concave and Convex Painting and the Changes in Chinese Sculpture Modeling Methods from the 6th to the 8th Century
Sculptures of the Tang Dynasty was one of the pinnacle of ancient Chinese sculpture art,with statues being particularly outstanding.This article analyzes the commonalities between the Tang Dynasty statues and concave convex painting styles,and differences between Han Dynasty styles,and shows the changes in the underlying concepts in the Tang Dynasty sculpture styles,and responds to the reasons for the formation of Tang Dynasty sculpture styles from the perspective of modeling mechanisms.
