Self-Identity Construction of Female Non-Genetic Inheritors:A Case Study Based on the National ICHlnheritors of Gaoping Embroidery Work
Through the field survey method and semi-structured interview method, this paper takes Zhao Cuilin,a national intangible cultural heritage(ICH)inheritor of Gaoping embroidery work,as a case study, and examines the process of personal career adjustment and identity construction of female inheritors in the new era from three aspects, namely, the change of style of her works, career development path and self-identity shaping. There are gender issues in the inheritance of ICH,and female inheritors need to break through the shackles of the rules, discover inspiration, hone their skills, and look for possibilities of career development in the course of exploration and practice. This paper analyzes the contribution of this group to the continuation of ICH from a comprehensive and three-dimensional perspective, with a view to providing references for gender equality and sustainable development in ICH inheritance in the future.
