A Study and Reflection on the Design of Mawangdui Series Printed Silk at Shanghai Seventh Printing Factory in the 1970s
This study takes the Mawangdui series printed fabrics designed and produced by Shanghai Seventh Printing Silk Factory in the 1970s as a case study.Through searching and analyzing a large amount of historical literature,it objectively and systematically elaborates on the historical background and design process of this series of printed fabrics,its impact and contribution to the development of modern silk printing designs,and also explores its many inspirations and reflections on how to use traditional cultural resources for innovative design today.
