"Breaking"and"Establishing"——Interpretation and Reflection on the Revision of the 2022 Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standards
The promulgation of the Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(Version 2022)has brought various new changes to the development of national education,and one of the most notable revisions is the optimization of the art curriculum:grades 1 to 7 focus on the main lines of music and art,with the integration of dance,drama,film and television,etc.,and grades 8 to 9 are offered separately with selected sections.The Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(Version 2022)is based on the original art curriculum,constantly breaking and updating the traditional model,expanding from being limited to single-subject knowledge and literacy to comprehensive core literacy,transforming from the pedagogical mindset of treating the art discipline as a tool for professional skills to one that pays attention to the cultural and emotional value of art as the most central element of all disciplines in education,and moving from the"fragmented"export of the boundaries of art education to the diversified concept of the common understanding of the five education systems,with each step of the revision process being a dynamic transformation of the"breaking"and the"establishing,"so as to determine the standards of the art curriculum that is more consistent with the national education.
