Immersion and Weaving:Antiphonal Routines and Continuation of Antiphonal Songs across Days
Based on the rich local knowledge and cultural representation of folk cross-day antiphonal singing routines,this article focuses on the collective singing elements such as the mind map,behavioral norms,phoneme resources and ritual singing process of Chinese antiphonal singing between the sexes;As a poetic wisdom of singing that embodies the spatialization of time,in addition to the interweaving of different periods of singing styles and song books,narrative songs,song signs,and allusions,the time span of singing is also related to the ritual of"harmony as the continuation"and"group self balance".The singing style of antiphonal songs not only promotes the integration of multiple senses such as sight,hearing,singing,and thinking,but also serves as a traditional vocal resource for the improvisational and uninterrupted singing of both sexes in folk songs.
