Collating and Annotating the Music literature of Dunhuang Manuscripts Collected in the National Library of China
The Dunhuang manuscripts are important research materials for studying the history,archaeology,anthropology,linguistics,literary history,art history,and social life of ancient China,and are one of the three major discoveries in the history of Chinese culture in the early 20th century.In the Dunhuang manuscripts collected in the National Library of China,there is bountiful music literature that is of highly important research value for studying Dunhuang musical instruments,and is now being fully collated and annotated.The music-related documents in the Dunhuang manuscripts collected in the National Library of China are all manuscripts,including materials on musical instruments such as sheng,konghou,and pipa.The research and the analysis of these documents are conducive to the study of the life history,musical instruments,and the history of music culture spread in ancient China.
