This paper introduced the estrogen, structural feature of its receptor, classification of estrogen-like Chinese medicine, and the regulation of blood llipid metabolism, endotheliocyte protection, inhibition of smooth muscle cell proliferation. It is believed that the cell and animal models centered on estrogen receptor can be established. Inhibitor of estrogen receptor was added and different sub-expressions of estrogen receptor were observed. Through observing the key molecules of signal trans-duction pathway, the relations between estrogen-like Chinese medicine and the estrogen receptor as well as the molecules trans-duction pathway was clarified. And through the research above, we can conclude that it is of great realistic significance to realize the substitution of estrogen-like Chinese medicine for traditional estrogen to treat related diseases.
