Inhibition of Proliferation,Migration and Invasion of HeLa Cells by Novel Quinoline Copper Complex
A new Cu(Ⅱ)complex[CuL(Cl)2(C2H5OH)](1)was synthesized and characterized by fourier transform infrared spectrum and X-ray diffraction. The MTT assay was used to determine the inhibitory effect on the proliferation of HeLa,HepG-2,NCI-H460,BGC-823 and HUVEC cells in vitro. The results showed that the complex showed high cytotoxicity to HeLa cells, and the level of toxicity to normal HUVEC cells(IC50=(72.27±7.77)μmol/L)was much less than that of oxaliplatin(IC50=(10.64±3.68)μmol/L).Furthermore,in vitro anti-tumor experiments showed that the complex was able to induce apoptosis of HeLa cells,up-regulating the level of intracellular ROS,decreasing mitochondrial membrane potential, inhibiting tumor cell migration and invasion, and inhibiting vascular endothelial cell formation.
