Study on the Role of SQLE in Regulating the Proliferation of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cells via AKT
Recently, the interest in the role of keratinocyte cyclooxidase(SQLE)in cancer has been in-tensified,particularly its effect on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)progression.Bioinformatic and experimental findings suggest that SQLE is significantly elevated in tumors relative to adjacent tissues. This upregulation may stimulate the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway in HNSCC.Furthermore,SQLE stimulates cell proliferation and inhibits apoptosis in HNSCC cells. These findings underscore the critical role of SQLE in HNSCC progression, suggesting it as a potential therapeutic target for this disease.
