Objective:Exploring the status of Hope level of patients with malignant tumors of the digestive system in Wujiaqu area and the corresponding influencing factors.Methods:A questionnaire was administered to 202 patientss with malignant tumors of the digestive system using Herth Hope Quantification Scale,to analyze the influencing factors related to patients'level of hope.Results:The interval of hope level score for patients with malignant tumors of the digestive system was(28.90±7.71)points,which is in the middle level,72.77％of patients were at intermediate and lower levels,while only 27.22％were in the high level,patients'level of Hope showed a positive correlation with the level of social support,economic and cultural level,and time with the disease,negative correlation with age,with lower economic levels and those living alone having significantly lower levels of hope than those living in towns and cities and those living with a spouse(P＜0.01).Conclusions:The hope level of patients with Malignant tumors of the digestive system is at a medium level,and healthcare professionals and family members should pay attention to this situation and formulate appropriate interventions in accordance with the patient's situation to enhance their hope for survival,thereby improving the quality of life and boosting their confidence in overcoming the disease.
