Knowledge Transformation and Organizational Change:the Logic of Change in Higher Education
Higher education institutions play a crucial role in promoting social progress and advancement.During the initial phases of any societal change,higher education institutions undergo modifications in their content and structure as a result of the conflict between the knowledge demands of society and the institutions themselves,known as higher education change.This study analyzes the changes in the interaction between actors'knowledge forms and higher education organizations and the knowledge needs of the social environment in different historical periods and finds that there is a strict logic of interaction between the ＂knowledge-based＂qualities of advanced knowledge and organizational change.On one hand,the ＂knowledge-based＂quality of higher knowledge deter-mines the evolution trend of its higher education organizational form;on the other hand,the organizational form of higher education influences the production path and content of its higher knowledge.
