Development trend and characteristics of grassland carbon research in China
In order to understand and master the development trend and characteristics of grassland carbon research in China,3485 literatures were integrated based on CNKI(China National Knowledge Network)data-base,classified and summarized the development trend,subject word distribution,research level,discipline dis-tribution,publishing institution and author respectively,and reached the preliminary conclusions as follows.Grassland carbon research in China started relatively late.It entered the active stage in 2000,took shape around 2010,and showed a fluctuating uptrend after 2013.Grassland carbon research focuses on organic carbon and is closely related to national policies;The research disciplines of grassland carbon were concentrated in livestock and animal medicine,which was directly related to the first-level discipline of grass science(former prataculture science).Research institutions and authors with a large number of publications were mainly concentrated in the Chinese Academy of Sciences,and only Northwest A&F University and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University are among the top five agricultural universities.In conclusion,despite the comprehensive development of grass-land carbon research in China in recent years,it is still in the basic or applied basic research,the distribution of disciplines and subject terms were too concentrated,and the research institutions and researchers were relatively scattered.
