Study on the Measurement,Spatial Variation and Convergence of Coupling Coordination between Technology and Finance
The integrated and coordinated development of science and technology and finance is an important driving force for regional innovation and economic development.Based on the panel data of 284 prefecture-level cities in China,the entropy value method and the coupling coordination degree model are used to measure the coupling coordination degree of science and technology and finance in Chinese cities,and the spatial differences and convergence of the coupling coordination degree are analyzed using the Dagum Gini coefficient and spatial convergence.It is found that the coupling coordination degree of science and technology and finance in each city increases year by year during the sample period,but the overall level is still low;the significant difference in the cou-pling coordination degree between eastern and western regions is the main source of the expansion of the overall spatial difference;the positive spatial agglomeration characteristic of the coupling coordination degree strengthens year by year and grows steadily;there is a significant absolute βconvergence characteristic of the overall and sub-regional coupling coordination degree,and it still holds true in the conditional β convergence analysis after controlling the influencing factors.The convergence speed of the central region is the fastest,followed by the eastern region and the western region.
