Numerical Simulation Study on Seismic Acceleration Amplification Effect of Soil Slopes
To investigate the amplification effects of peak ground acceleration(PGA)along the elevation direction of slopes under seismic loading,the finite element software OpenSees was employed to conduct numerical simulations on the PGA amplification effects of homogeneous soil slopes subjected to various seismic motions.The effects and correlation of factors such as shear wave velocity(Vs),slope angle(θ),and slope height(H)on PGA amplification coefficient were studied.In this study,each average PGA amplification curve was fitted with a Logistic function curve,and the fitted shape parameters were analyzed.Ultimately,a three-factor η calculation formu-la was constructed based on shear wave velocity,slope angle,and slope height.In addition,the validi-ty of formula was verified.
