摘要
基于Verkley和Velde的数学模型,研究了线性基本流和非线性地形共同作用下的近赤道非线性Rossby波动力学机制,利用多重尺度和弱非线性法,得到Rossby波振幅新的非线性演化方程,进一步讨论了在给定参数条件下的热带大气和海洋的动力学机制.
Abstract
Based on the mathematical model given by Verkley and Velde,the present paper con-siders the dynamical mechanism of the near Equatorial Rossby solitary waves under the effects of both linear background current and nonlinear topography.A nonlinear evolutionary equation for the Rossby wave amplitude is derived by using the methods of multiple scales and weak nonlinear expansions.Discussions on the physical mechanism of the atmospheres and oceans in the tropics are further done according to the specific parameters of basic current and topography.
