Research on Differentiated Pricing for High-Speed Railway Silent Carriages Based on Bi-Level Programming Model
The study of the differentiated pricing mechanism of high-speed rail silent carriages is conducive to regulating the equilibrium distribution of demand for passenger ticket products and im-proving the total revenue.A bi-level programming model is constructed with the objectives of maxi-mizing the revenue of the operating company and minimizing the travel cost of passengers,and an algorithm is designed to solve the model based on sensitivity analysis,so as to optimize the differen-tial pricing of different ticket products considering the silent carriages.The experimental results show that compared with the uniform fare,the implementation of differentiated pricing with silent carriages can increase the revenue by 1.5%;compared with the implementation of differentiated pricing with conventional carriages,the configuration of silent carriages and simultaneously imple-mentation of differentiated pricing for them can increase the revenue by 5.0%.The research results can provide decision-making support for the pricing of silent carriages of high-speed railway.
