The copper deposit in Inner Mongolia mainly contains secondary sulfide copper, predominantly chalcopyrite and chalcocite, with an average copper grade of 2.52%.Based on the characteristics of the ore,a study was conducted on the conditions of rough grinding and selection of original copper ore, regrinding and reselection of copper rough concentrate.By optimizing the influencing factors of flotation indicators, the best process conditions suitable for rough and fine selection of copper ore were obtained. The optimal conditions included an ore grinding fineness of-0.074 mm at 70%concentration,and the use of 1 000 g/t of activator Na2CO3+Na2S,and 300 g/t of collector combination of butyl xanthate and ester-112 at 150 g/t and 110 g/t respectively. After rough selection and scavenging, copper tailings were obtained, and the rough copper concentrate underwent regrinding followed by three stages of fine selection. After returning the middlings for further treatment,a final copper concentrate with a copper grade of 25.74%was obtained, achieving a copper recovery rate of 87.30%.
